Scott Gruwell is President and CEO of Courtesy Automotive Group, a third-generation family-owned dealership group rooted in the Phoenix Valley since 1955.

He began his career at Courtesy Chevrolet as a retail salesperson in 1996 and rose through the ranks as assistant used car manager, director, and general manager before becoming CEO in January 2021.

Under his leadership, Courtesy has grown from a single store into a multi-brand dealership group across Arizona and Southern California, expanding into Tucson in August 2026 with the acquisition of Watson Chevrolet and Infiniti of Tucson.

A University of Arizona graduate, Gruwell is active with the Scottsdale Charros and the Executive Council of Greater Phoenix.
